The Never Ending “WAVE” Wrap – Free Crochet Pattern

The Never Ending “WAVE” Wrap – Free Crochet Pattern

A wrap that will go on and on and on. A simple beginner pattern for anyone to try out! Make it any size you want.

I used Lion Brand Feels Like Butta for this project but any worsted weight yarn will work. I have noted gauge below based on this yarn however gauge is not crucial to this piece, you can make it as big as you like. If you don’t have a 7mm hook use a 6.5mm or even an 8mm.

You could even adapt this pattern to a DK weight yarn, I would recommend using a 6mm or 6.5mm hook. Just remember you don’t want the stitches to be to tight, so depending on the yarn you use go up a couple hook sizes based on the yarn label. You want this to be flowy piece!

Materials

  • 7mm hook
  • Lion Brand Feels Like Butta (100% polyester, worsted weight, 218 yards per skein)
    • approx. 228 yards for mini wrap
    • approx. 1509 yards for large wrap

Abbreviations

  • ch = chain
  • ch sp = chain space
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • st(s) = stitch(es)
  • dc = double crochet

Notes

  • pattern in US terms
  • ch 4 at the beginning of each row counts as dc and ch 1
  • gauge: after row 3 piece measures approx. 5″ wide 2.5″ tall
